How to Use the new Tailwind Tribes Feature

Previous Button Cropped

See this little snippet is from my own Tribe.  If you’ll notice that one pin from my friend Marie has a viral score 24,364, so I’m definitely going to want to pin that one to all my group boards.  It’s obviously very popular and will net me some repins and maybe some Followers.  Also, the carrot cookies pin from Melissa has a score of 4,220.  I don’t do a lot of recipes, but I have a couple of boards just for that purpose.  I also have my own most popular pin out there – a cruise pin that has 15,000 repins, so my Tribemates have been doing a lot of repins of that one.  It’s just sooo easy!

Example of the NEW Tailwind Tribes feature.

It’s also a rough analytics tool so you can see what types of pins are “clicking” for other bloggers and what isn’t.  You can create and join as many Tribes as you wish and you can designate different types of Tribes – one for pins over a certain score, or ones for parenting posts, or recipes, or whatever you like.  It’s your baby.

The new Tailwind Tribes feature is EASY and Powerful. Great way to boost your Pinterest presence.

Adding people – super easy.  You just click invite and add Emails.  I don’t know if they HAVE to be on Tailwind.  It was saying the other day that they don’t have to be on Tailwind to be invited to a Tribe, but I’m sure they give you an offer to join Tailwind.

I belong to a couple of Tribes, but I’d like to be on more so if you have one, send me an invite please and I’m happy to invite more people to my Tribe.

PS:  I cover Tailwind extensively in my Pinterest Ebook.  I am also including two FREE videos on how to use Tailwind Tribes with every purchase.  I show you how I use both Tribes and Board Lists to send my pins to dozens of boards in a very short time.  There is a link at the bottom of this page to purchase my Ebook and get the bonus videos.

If you’d like to sign up for Tailwind, I’d take it as a big favor if you’d use my affiliate link.  You get a free month’s trial of their service and I get a small commission – I call that a win-win!

  1. Hello! I would love to be a part of your tribe if you are still adding pinners. Thank you!

  2. Hi, Adrian! I would also love to get an invitation to your Tailwind Tribe. I’ve included my email. Thanks in advance!

    • My tribe isn’t that big on recipes, it’s mostly parenting and general blog posts, but I’ve sent you an invitation anyway. I’d love it if you could do me a favor. I’m working with a food blogger and I’m trying to find some great food tribes for him – mostly Gluten free and Paleo. Can you point me to any good food tribes or any nice group boards for him?

  3. Hi! I would love to be included in your tribe. Thank you so much!

  4. This is great information! I’m a new blogger and just learning about Tailwind. Thanks for the post.

  5. I found this post through the #SITSBlogging link up and it was definitely useful for me!
I’m a new blogger (I’ve been doing this only for a couple of months) so I’m still learning everything related to blogging and social media in general. I’ve always loved Pinterest for my DIY inspirations but I was not aware of Tailwind nor the tribe option! I’ll definitely look into that!
Thanks for your tips and happy weekend!

    • I’ve used several different tools like this over the years and I think Tailwind is definitely the best one. I’ve sent an invitation to your Email that will give you a free 30 days use of the service.

  6. I just signed up for tailwind today! So I am trying to catch up and learn this tribe thing. Thanks for the info!

    • It is awesome! I hope you used one of my affiliate links. Then we’ll each get a free month of service. I’ll send you an invitation to my Tribe.

  7. Hi! Thank you for this post, I just learned about tribes and I find it really interesting. I would love to be a part of your tribe if you will have me. I post about social media with an emphasis on youtube and growing your youtube channel. My email is

  8. Thanks for the tips. I’ve just starting using Tailwind, so still learning all the ins-and-outs. So, I appreciate the info! Stopping by from Saturday Sharefest and pinning (of course!).

  9. I wasn’t familiar with TailWind until I received an invite for my first Tribe this week. You’re right – it’s useful and a lot of fun! I hope I can afford to keep it when my trial runs out. There are just too many cool tools out there now. 🙂

    • I’ve used most of the ones on the market pretty extensively and I can honestly say Tailwind is the best one going. And if you get the yearly plan, it works out to just $10/month. That’s pretty affordable, especially if it brings you some income in terms of traffic or affiliate campaigns.

  10. I started using Tailwind about 2 months ago and love it! I had no idea this was a thing, but I love the idea. Gonna check out the Tribes feature this week. =)

    • I know, I think it’s the coolest feature ever! I had a nice chat with the developers a couple of weeks ago. I’ve just invited you to my Tribe.

  11. Wow, Adrian! Thanks for clarifying all this. I have just started using Tailwind, and now I can’t wait to check out the Tribes feature. Happy 4th!

    • I’ve tried a few different schedulers and I think Tailwind is the coolest by far and I’m really excited about the Tribes feature. I’ve just invited you to my Tribe.

  12. I’d love to be a part of your tribe if you’re looking to add people. I’d heard about this but didn’t really know what it was until reading this post. Great info!!!

    • Yes, absolutely. I’d love to have some of your money posts in my tribe. There are a lot of recipes and preschool posts that aren’t really a good fit for my boards.

  13. Thanks for the information! I’ve been wanting to try Tailwind for a while now!

  14. I love the Tribe feature and love being part of your Tribe Adrian! Pinning this!
