New Products from the Stampin’ Up! Convention 2008

One of the most exciting things about Convention was the announcement of new products that will be coming out soon. We’ve had a lot of changes over the last few months with the introduction of our new Decor Elements line. Now they are gearing up for phase 2 of the Decor Elements line and they also had an exciting new announcement for us:

We are partnering with Sizzix to sell their new Big Shot die cutting machine, along with a series of specially designed dies that will be exclusive to Stampin’ Up! They had some really outstanding samples on hand to show us and I was just really excited about these new products. Here are some samples – sorry the pictures aren’t better, but there were about a million other demos trying to get pictures too, so I didn’t have a lot of room to work.

First, some of the new Decor Elements products. There are some new designs, new colors and always some great ideas.
This Flourishes set is actually already available, but now that I’ve seen it used like this, I am totally going to do something like this in my living room. I’ve already ordered two sets of them for just this purpose. Isn’t this pretty and elegant?

Now here are some of the Big Shot samples. I was amazed at the variety of projects they were able to get out of just a few dies. These pennant ones were the most popular, you can make just about anything out of them and they were really cool looking. Plus you can cut out of paper, fabric, vinyl, even needlepoint canvas. I can think of some really cool things I’m going to do with this.

These felt kid’s books were made with the Big Shot and in the corner you can see a bit of Shelli’s apron which was also made by putting the fabric through the Big Shot. Cool stuff.
